Diversity Dating

A supported Disability Dating and Friendship Series

Across the disability industry we have heard of people longing to form meaningful connections, whether that’s increasing friendship circles, finding a significant other or starting the journey toward creating a family. We created Diversity Dating in the hopes of supporting you to create the life of connection that you are longing for.

One of a kind in the Hunter, this program is great because we can deliver it anywhere! If you live outside of our normal service delivery areas, no need to worry. We will come to you to host an event, just ask us how we can make this possible!

Coaching

In a small group of six (separate sessions for men and women) we take you through the program, give basic tips around dress and cleanliness as well as respectful conduct, and talk about your experiences or lack of experience in a safe small group setting. If we find you might need some more 1:1 coaching, we will talk to you about that after the session.

ConnectionYou have done your coaching class and are now ready to put your best self forward! Coming along to the event you will recognise some of the people from your coaching session; you will then take turns meeting six new people in a 1:1 speed dating style setting. Staff will be there to support you on the night and coach you through any nerves.
